How it works

Comfort without an outdoor unit.

The SEU keeps the main unit inside. Air moves through two openings in an external wall, so there is no separate condenser outside.

Good to know

Common questions.

Does it need an outdoor unit?

No separate outdoor condenser is required. The indoor unit connects to outside air through two wall openings and exterior grilles.

Will it suit every room?

Suitability depends on room size, the wall construction, access and the proposed position. A room assessment is needed before selecting a unit.

Can it heat as well as cool?

Yes. The 10,000 and 12,000 BTU inverter models provide both heating and cooling. Their rated outputs are listed above. We’ll help you choose the model suited to your room.

What about noise and running costs?

The manufacturer lists sleep-mode sound levels as low as 39 dB. Noise varies with fan speed, model and fitting. Running cost depends on electricity input, operating time, your tariff and room conditions. Rated heating or cooling output is not the same as electrical input, so it should not be used to calculate your electricity bill.

What does installation require?

A suitable external wall, two 180 mm air openings, a suitable electrical supply and provision for condensate drainage where required. Wall construction, access and clearance around the unit are checked before agreeing the installation.

What warranty and lead time apply?

Ask us for the applicable warranty terms and current stock and installation availability when requesting your quote. These depend on the model and the supply and installation arrangements.
